The Techno Mage Is Now Available in French!
Five years ago, I published my very first novel, The Techno Mage. It launched my steampunk world and introduced readers to Arteus, Ikarim, and Magaliana—the trio that started it all.
Now, to celebrate its 5th anniversary, The Techno Mage is finally available in French! Both the ebook and paperback released on September 15, 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this story in another language so close to my heart.
Why French?
As a French Canadian, translating The Techno Mage felt like the natural first step in my journey to bring my books to more readers worldwide. Translators can be expensive (and worth every penny!), but since I’m bilingual, I figured I could take on the challenge myself as a start.
Of course, I wasn’t entirely on my own. My mum acted as my editor, catching mistakes and making sure my French stayed smooth and natural. After all, I’ve lived in the U.S. for over twenty years, and my French definitely needed a polish. She also helped me double-check terms and idioms, making sure we used the France-French versions where they differ from Quebec French.
Revisiting My Debut
Revisiting an old novel is always a mix of emotions… especially when it’s your debut. On one hand, I cringed at every grammatical and punctuation mistake in the original English (clearly I took my proofreading course a little too late). On the other, I was reminded of how much I still adore these characters. Arteus and Ikarim especially made me smile, because with my current Bucky Barnes obsession, I couldn’t help but spot the pre-serum Steve/Bucky vibes between them. And that made me love them even more.
Where to Find The Techno Mage French Edition
Whether you prefer ebooks or paperbacks, Le Techno-Mage is ready for you:
– Ebook: Available now at all major online retailers
– Paperback: Also released on September 15, available online
And for my fellow Quebec readers, you can even find the paperback edition at La Chouette Librairie in Matane.

Why This Matters
I’m so excited to finally share The Techno Mage French edition with readers. It feels like the perfect way to celebrate this book’s 5th anniversary.
This release isn’t just about translating words—it’s about expanding worlds. Especially with the huge, vibrant steampunk community in France. Translating my story into French is my way of joining that conversation and inviting new readers into the adventure.
Have you ever read a translated book? I’d love to hear your experience! Drop your thoughts in the comments.
