Editing update 2.4
This is the furthest I’ve ever gotten in my journey, and I am both excited and terrified.
It was a lot of hard work. Thanks to everything I’ve learned from my amazing Beta Readers, this latest edit was pretty much an entire rewrite that I had been working on since May. The editing burnout was real.
Also, my laptop died with two chapters left to edit/rewrite. Granted, my laptop was seven years old, but it was horrible timing. It was a HP with 4GB RAM and 500GB HD (which was fine for what I needed it for). I quickly ordered a Dell with 8GB RAM, 1TB HD, and 128GB SSD online for what I think is a steal ($400) and got it within 15 minutes thanks to Curbside Pickup. Woo!
I still have a lot to do before release day, but I’m already thinking about my next project. Remember how I started with Elementals and shelved it? Yep, I’m thinking that mess will be tackled real soon.
